The stage career of Sadoski, an award-winning actor, began as an assistant to Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rosenthal and Mark Rosenthal in an Off-Broadway production of Kenneth Linergan's This is Our Youth at Second Stage Theatre. This was the beginning of many productions by the theatre company based in New York. He has appeared in many Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, and has also appeared in numerous productions of regional theaters. He was the lead character Greg in Neil LaBute's production of Reasons to be Pretty for MCC Theatre with his Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. After a critically lauded sell-out Off-Broadway performance, it transferred to Broadway in April 2009 when it won three Tony Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best Actress: Marin Ireland, Best Play) in addition to three Drama Desk Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best Director: Terry Kinney and Best Play) Also, two Outer Critics Circle Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best New Play),and three Drama League Award nominations (Best Play, Distinguished Performance Awards: Sadoski and Ireland). [6] Neil LaBute credits Sadoski for his role in bringing about the critically acclaimed changes in the tone of reasons to be beautiful from the earlier work of the playwright, saying: "His own thoughtfulness and good heart helped me to not go back to the things I've done before. My plays ended in a dark way. I've always thought that this was true, that there was always a hint of gray. However, the actor helped me recognize other colors in the palette." He played the role of Trip Wyeth, Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. For this role, he received an Obie Award as well as the Lucille Lortel Award. The production (which also, following a sold out Off-Broadway run, was moved to Broadway in November of 2011) was named Outstanding New Off-Broadway Production by the Outer Critics Circle in 2011. Sadoski is also seen on Broadway with Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alison Pill in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves
