Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop sound after capturing the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music as well as independent hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano and her talent for writing emotional songs make her distinct. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the debut album.
