Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. She has a mother who is English and her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was earned. She appeared on stage in several productions as a student including the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. In the years since, she's appeared as a guest in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi, the lead role in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a star in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually ended. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would quit the show following her appearance on the premiere episode from the 3rd season. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe married her long-time lover, Iddo. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he played a part with her on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in the large family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley competed in top-level divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed in high school. In addition, she won best soloist awards at all major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
