Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and raised at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she moved from Morocco to California. Her big break came in the year 2015 when she earned her degrees from University of California San Diego. Pernas had a few appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage, but she landed the part as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in the year 2016, she landed a recurring role on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, who can speak four languages, has appeared on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed that Pernas and Justin Hartley were dating in May, 2020. This was after Chrishell Stause (the spouse of the This Is Us actor) quit him in November of 2019 and Pernas started dating Hartley. Pernas Hartley was recently married in a wedding that was secretly held according to reports from May 2020.
