Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine ski champion, who was awarded silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. It is the sole female skier with the second-highest Super Score. She's the most famous as well as one of America's most loved skiers. Caroline Vonn who is also is known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as an Olympic skier with the US Ski Team. She holds the record of having four total World Cup victories. She is a renowned and long-running track record of success in American sport. She's among only six women who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. A world-class skier and one of America's most experienced ski racers, she has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships which take place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of illnesses. Social media was used to announce her retirement.
